So yeah…. I’ve been teaching the last 2 weeks (although for the amount of times I’ve been called a student the last 2 weeks, I should probably just go back to being a high schooler). And man has it been BUSY! I’ve finally got ahead though so I think I’m done with this whole 12 hour day thing. HALLELUJAH!
Work is great, but when I come home that’s when the problems start. Mostly right now I’m struggling with two things:
1. What do people do with free time?
2. Not being able to workout.
Yeah, it’s a weird world you normal people live in. I’ve been doing so much for so long I sit here and I’m like… so…. do people have hobbies? And what are these hobbies that people speak of? The last time I had hobbies I was around 13. So I’ve gone back to some of those. I can see why I didn’t keep many of them up.
I tried playing the piano. That lasted a solid 8 minutes. Turns out I like practicing now as much as I liked it when I was 12. I got through half a Taylor Swift song, two hymns, and reverted right back to that random duet song that no one knows the name of but everyone plays.
Then I was like….I guess I could sew. Nope. That didn’t even last past the thought.
I could mow the lawn. Get my shoes on and all of a sudden there’s a massive down pour of rain.
And that’s about all I could come up with.
So mostly I revert to watching Psych and eating ice cream. Please bless the Jazz season will come quickly. I’m really good at that hobby, but I can only do that hobby 9 months of the year. It really is upsetting how short their season is.
And for your personal enjoyment… here’s some random pictures i found on my computer. You’re welcome.
