Tuesday Confessions

February 9, 2016
  • I raced this last weekend and it actually went great. I’ve been running so hard since last January and was relieved I am getting faster.  I still have lots of work, but was so glad to see it is working!
  • I think paying taxes may be one of my least favorite things to do.
  • When I pay my taxes I see why America had a revolution.
  • We’re still waiting to hear back from the U of U for medical school. Let’s just say I’ve been much less patient this year.
  • In the last 2 weeks Brandon and I bought 3 packages of pre-made cookie dough.  Only one of the said packages actually made it to the oven.
  • We didn’t get poisoned from eating 2 packages of cookie dough.
  • I didn’t want to go to work today.
  • I went to work today and it was totally a good day.
  • My favorite part of the Superbowl (and any sporting event, really) is the singing of the Star Spangled Banner.
  • I have been absolutely overjoyed that the Jazz won 6 in a row and are 8th in the West.
  • Sometimes I really want a baby other times I’m like “I’m not adult enough to be taking care of another human”.
  • The song “Something to be Proud Of” by Montgomery Gentry has made a lot more sense in the last few weeks to me.
  • I REALLY hate the snow. And cold. And winter. And darkness.  I could move to San Diego, never see the snow or seasons again and be perfectly content with my life.
