Portland 2016

September 23, 2016

It seems like just about every year since high school I’ve spent my actual birthday traveling somewhere for cross country.  Whether it was Bob Firman in high school, Roy Griak for UVU, or this year’s Portland trip as a coach, a little cross country race always make it feel a little more like my birthday.

Portland has been BEAUTIFUL!  On the drive up we stopped by an amazing waterfall and I love how green this state is.

I think though so far my favorite thing was seeing the Nike track that literally has a forest in the middle of it.  So cool!

All in all this has been a pretty fantastic trip.  Well, for me at least.  My poor hubby has had to deal with a broken sprinkler and leaky roof while I’ve been away.  If that wasn’t ever bad timing I don’t know what was!  Oh the joys of owning your own home 🙂

Until next time!!

You are back, yay! I’m impressed how quickly you had a blog post up. Your husband told me today at church that he doesn’t like being a bachelor. We are all glad to have you back. Let’s hang out!
